No Kids Allowed…..

Hello everyone!  

No kids allowed.  Let me explain……

This is one of our policies that I get asked constantly to bend the rules on.  It’s not that we don’t like kids – Mark and I have 8 between us!  It is because we recognize the importance of reconnecting.  

We are known as one of the most romantic places to stay in St. Louis.  Romance cannot be guaranteed if you hear children doing what children do.  We want to create an atmosphere where couples can leave the stresses of everyday life behind and come together again and enjoy the things about each other that they fell in love with initially.  This is more important now than ever.  Parents are working from home which is stressful in and of itself, but when you add remote learning with children, it takes that stress level over the top.  Sometimes, you just need to get away and truly relax.  That is what we want to become to you:  a haven; a relaxing home away from home; and a true romantic getaway.  

Now for the selfish part.  I can truly say the most favorite part of owning this bed and breakfast is serving all of you and watching the reconnections take place.  It warms my heart when I hear lots and lots of conversations and laughter coming from the dining room.  I promise you I am not eavesdropping but I truly love hearing you couples enjoy each others company.  Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
