A Year to Remember

We made it!

Happy one year anniversary to us!!  When we closed on the business a year ago this past week and welcomed our first guests, little did we know what a crazy year it would be.  Through all the ups and downs;  accomplishments and setbacks;  and  learning to manage our expectations, we have not regretted our decision once.

We are grateful to YOU, our guests for trusting us with your stay, your safety, and your memories.   Thank you for overlooking our dust renovations, small electrical sparks, and stuck pocket doors.  Thank YOU for taking a credit for cancelled stays and sharing our optimism that you would be able to travel to us in the future.  We appreciate all of YOU for letting us be a part of your getaways, family gatherings, elopements, anniversaries, birthdays, and business trips.

St. Louis has it all and we have enjoyed baseball, hockey, theatre, museums, parks, the zoo, the aquarium, and the Botanical Garden.  Mark and I have learned to appreciate provel cheese, toasted ravioli, gooey butter cake, and Ted Drewes frozen custard.  Year two looks bright, maybe not completely “normal”,  but we can’t wait to share it with all of YOU.

We aren’t going anywhere and we can’t wait to see you soon.

Thank YOU.

Leslie

  1. This week marks our one year anniversary of our visit w/you~Oct 2, 2019. We were among the first to stay at your then new investment and leap of faith. We have such fond memories of your wonderful hospitality. We laugh at how you left us to freely roam your home as you two went off to the championship hockey game. WE felt right at home ! Thank you for a great experience. Your recommendations as to where to eat (Guido’s) and where to visit and how to get there were spot on. We staying in the Tower Grove room~hadn’t had your pocket door fixed yet~but, no problem~just all part of the memories. Loved all the food~great style, great taste, great care in prep and presentation.
Congratulations on surviving your first year of innkeepership!. May God bless you and the comings and the goings of all those who step across your threshold. Wayne and Marsha Cornelius~Rancho Murieta, CA
