When I started my journey from India, I was totally confused about my stay at St. Louis. But after staying here, I am totally happy and comfortable and also felt I am in my own house.
I loved the hospitality extended to me by Janice and David. Oh! Lovely people. I don't think that in any other place a guest will be honoured and treated in such a lovely manner.

A wonderful, peaceful, restful place to come home to after each long day consulting at St. Louis University Hospital. They found you on your website, and I definitely recommended they plan on putting up other "visiting firemen" here. After hearing about it, my wife wants me to plan another trip to St. Louis so she can stay here, too!

Jan & Dave, Thank you for providing me with a home away from home. Your recommendations for dinner at Charlie Gitto’s was spot on. I enjoyed a great meal and wine. As good as the meal was it couldn’t compare to the two days of breakfast I enjoyed. It was wonderful! Thanks so much for the great hospitality. I plan to return any time I am in the area.

My husband and I came to St. Louis for our 4th anniversary, and we have had a wonderful time. We are so glad we chose to stay here. Dave and Jan were wonderful hosts, always helping us find fun places to go and making sure we were cared for very well. The breakfasts were probably our favorite part of our stay. We are anxious to get home (we have two beautiful children we are missing immensely), but we were thrilled with our stay and would love to come back.

Lovely home, lovely room, lovely hosts. A wonderful experience. The Fleur-de-Lys has become our favorite bed & breakfast! Jan, your kindness & genuine interest in serving others makes you a perfect host, and Sandra served very capably as your co-host. Each breakfast of our three-day visit was absolutely delicious. No hotel, regardless of how well appointed it is, can match the comfort, warmth, and hospitality of a marvelous B&B like The Fleur-de-Lys. Thanks for a perfect stay!

The Fleur-de-Lys was a wonderful last stop during our Pro Football Hall of Fame game weekend. No competition —this B&B was our nicest overnight accommodation. We have stayed in B&Bs
all across America and The Fleur-de-Lys ranks among the most well-appointed, and Jan was the nicest hostess. Tomorrow it's back to our regular life in Las Vegas. The memories of this anniversary gift trip will be cherished. All the best to all of the visitors to The Fleur-de-Lys.

Hospitality is...making cinnamon rolls for a 4-1/2 month pregnant lady with a craving! I had read that Jan's specialty recipe was cinnamon rolls, so I emailed her asking if she might have them during our stay...she said she would try. When we arrived on a Sunday eve, she informed me that "the cinnamon rolls are rising"! I was so excited, I could hardly wait for morning! And even though my husband was hungry by 4 am, he was very hesitant about leaving his most comfortable bed! This was our first anniversary and we really enjoyed our personal chef romantic dinner (Thanks, Dawn!). The food tasted so good, the presentation was delightful, and the chef so attentive and personable. We will highly recommend you to friends and family all over the region. Thank you!

This was the final surprise in a day of surprises that my husband planned for me. Not only did we get to spend some wonderful time together without kids—we found a fabulous place to do so! This mansion is awesome, our room is extremely comfortable and the stuffed French toast we had for breakfast was delicious. The outgoing staff made our stay perfect.

This the most lovely B&B we have stayed at. But where shall we start? Let's see...let's start with the sheets. These are the most silky, softest sheets we have ever slept in. Just ask Dave and Jan about them. And then there's the incredible hospitality of Dave and Jan. As innkeepers, this is clearly a labor of love and we appreciated being welcomed into their home. The food was wonderful and our private dinner a true luxury. But I have to come back for the sheets....We'll never forget the feeling of climbing in!

This was our first stay at a B&B. Our stay was wonderful – comfy bed and great breakfast. Jan did a great job with the food with all of my diet restrictions. We came to St. Louis to visit our daughter and celebrate our 34th anniversary a month early. Because we decided to extend our stay from two nights to three, we got the chance to experience two rooms. The Forest Park the first night and The Tower Grove Park the next two nights. Both rooms were wonderful. We will want to stay at the Fleur-de-Lys every time we are in St. Louis.

Thanks you for making our third stay so special, every time we come it just gets better. We have created so many wonderful memories here, our engagement, wedding night and now out 1 year anniversary! A lot of memories are made and cherished during a fifty year marriage. These last few days here with you in this beautiful home has added to our memory chest. It isn’t too often you can say something has been perfect but we can say that about our beautiful 50th wedding anniversary celebration here. The Mansion is amazing! The food was wonderful & always left us wanting more (although our stomachs couldn’t handle it!) We also enjoyed our room very much! The bath was amazing & relaxing, the hot tub was romantic & the bed was so comfortable! This was our first B&B, but it definitely won’t be our last. We will also definitely be back to celebrate here, including starting our life together. Thank you for a wonderful night!

We wanted to spend our first anniversary in a romantic environment but you all have made it so much more than that. Your place has the perfect blend of elegance and class while maintaining warmth and comfort. It is amazing. We were able to “GET AWAY” in our own city. Thank you so, so much for all of the special touches (comfy bed, towel warmer, high end toiletries, homemade cookies, meticulous landscaping, etc.) that have given us memories that we will forever cherish. What a wonderful B&B. Jim and I totally enjoyed ourselves in this room at the Fleur-de-Lys Mansion. Jan and Dave are such wonderful hosts. No detail goes unnoticed and the food is spectacular. After 2 nights in this room we hate to leave! Oh wait…we aren’t leaving…! We are just moving into another room for one more night! We love to stay at B&B’s and this one is definitely at the top!

We feel like we’ve already had a wonderful vacation and we are just getting started. What a wonderful home you have – from the welcoming entrance to beautifully appointed rooms to terrific cookies to scrumptious breakfasts but best of all to two happy hosts who obviously love what they do. We feel more like we have made new friends, Vickie included even though she was cheering for Missouri. It has been a super three days! We truly hope to come back someday soon!
