The Fleur-de-Lys Grand Romance

Make your stay an even grander affair with a romantic carriage ride aboard a lovely vis-a-vie carriage drawn by a majestic Clydesdale. Your private ride will meander through historic Tower Grove Park’s 289 acres of greenswards, featuring bronze statuary, fountains, lily ponds and fanciful pavilions. Then, return to the Inn for a sumptuous four-course dinner, selected by you from our chef’s delicious seasonal offerings. And to make your relaxation complete, you and your partner will each enjoy a one-hour massage, provided in the privacy of your room.

A Romantic Journey by Private Carriage

Tower Grove Park (less than a mile from the Mansion) is an urban treasure dating from the mid-nineteenth century, and is one of only four urban parks in the country designated as a National Historic Landmark. See the beauty of Tower Grove Park as it was originally meant to be experienced, from the seat of a traditional horse-drawn carriage.

During your private, half-hour carriage ride, you’ll take a leisurely tour through this stunning park. Should you wish, we’ll provide you a bottle of chilled Champagne to enjoy on your journey for only $25 more. If you would like to extend your ride to a full hour, there’s an additional $15 fee.

Treat yourself to the wonderful pleasures that a steaming cup of tea and warm conversation can bring. You and your friends can partake in this gracious tradition at a beautifully appointed fireside table in our Parkside Dining Room. Delicious scones, delectable finger sandwiches and assorted sweets will be served along with your choice of fine imported teas.

By reservation only, teas will be served between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m., minimum 4 people per reservation, maximum 20 people per event. Cost is $30 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Spa Treatments at The Fleur-de-Lys

Swedish Massage $200 (for 2 one-hour massages)

We are happy to welcome Garden Walk Massage Therapy to our Fleur-de- Lys family! Lisa Young and her wonderful staff are available to provide massages in the privacy of your luxury suite.  Their blended approach is derived from Swedish massage, myofascial (connective tissue) therapy, pressure/trigger point therapy, and Reiki, among other specialties.  Adding massages to your stay will melt away your stress about the cares of the world and once all that tension is released, you’ll be in a perfect state to fully enjoy your romantic stay.
